During the event next week, the participants find their home in “SUP City”,
a tent that gets rebuilt and broken down every morning and every
afternoon traveling from town to town like the athletes on their SUP.
With their art exhibition in “SUP City”, Charmaine and Anne-Marie like
to
ad some Aloha and color for the entire SUP 11-City Ohana. Perhaps
some
extra inspiration for their paddle prestige.
Charmaine Walsen is an artist who graduated in 1996 at the Royal
Academy of Art,
The Hague in Fine Arts (ba). She is locally at
Scheveningen well know for
her “Aloha Art” with (surf) waves en Hibiscus
flowers.
It’s her dreamworld and creates happy tropical scenes for
herself and others.
It’s her longing for warm and bright colors when
days in The Netherlands can be cold and grey.
She also makes self- and
other portraits. Lately she found the passion for pen drawings again.
With little strokes and fine lines she makes sketches from people and
scenery from travel or her own sphere.
