Gillian's love of the ocean began when she was a lifeguard in her native Cape Cod. The environment was the perfect setting to take her yoga practice into nature, and bring balance to the body after lifeguard competitions and long hours in the water. After college, Gillian took a lifeguard position in New Zealand, and after relocating to San Diego created Paddle Into Fitness.
